Your students will love Character Builders facilitated camps. Our staff always connect with students and quickly develop trust, respect and confidence so that the students feel comfortable working with us. We also want teachers to enjoy a stress-free camp and focus more on bonding with students while having a great time. We facilitate the camp from start to finish and work closely with teachers prior to the camp to make sure everything runs smoothly and according to the school’s needs. Our activities are inclusive and encourage students to take ownership of their presence and contributions to the cohort.
Our programs are tailored around the natural surroundings of each individual camp and include beach games, team building games, creative development and much more.
Activities are tailored to:
- age appropriate
- indoors
- outdoors (beach, bush and CBD),
- night activities
- team building
- leadership
- personal and character development
- motivational speakers
- curriculum aligned
Inclusions: Full itinerary, risk assessment and Character Builders Facilitation of all activities.
Outcomes: We can tailor the outcomes of the camp to meet the needs of your students. Typical examples include: leadership, team building and personal development.

“Character Builders provided fantastic, inclusive experiences for our students. The variety of activities provided were very resourceful for each individual student and allowed them to grow and develop their own skills and encourage their peers. Character Builders are truly dedicated people, who provide admirable team and life skills to all students at their campsites.”

QCCC Tamborine is located on Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast hinterland, about 80kms south of Brisbane and 40kms inland from the Gold Coast. Acres of tall gums and gardens make it a peaceful retreat, the perfect place to get away from it all.
QCCC Tamborine consists of four separate campuses combined into one mega-site. This gives extreme flexibility for accommodation. QCCC Tamborine can cater to groups of up to 350 people or offer exclusive use of individual sites for groups comprising as few as 20 people.
“We have just come back from a 4 day camp at Mount Tambourine with Damo and our Yr 11 students and staff had a great time. From Day 1, Damo had the ability to connect with the students and really got the best out of them. He was amazing in remembering everyone’s names and his quick wit kept them engaged the whole time. The activities that they had set up for the students were excellent and can’t wait to do it all again next year. Thanks to Character Builders for the amazing experience.”
~ Matt Fydler, Lindisfarne. Tweed Heads, NSW.
“The Character Builders staff showed a great deal of interest in all of our girls on camp. They ensured full participation and enjoyment for every girl. The weather conditions were somewhat testing and the flexible approach by Character Builders made to a hugely positive experience for all students and staff.”
~ Kylie Fletcher, Head of Middle School, All Hallows. Brisbane, Qld.
